Job details
About this role
Role overview A product designer role on a B2B SaaS team that builds tooling for technical users such as release managers, Salesforce admins, and developers. The work centers on simplifying complex workflows, from discovery through delivery, with designers embedded alongside product managers and engineers rather than working in isolation.
Responsibilities - Own meaningful customer problems end to end, from research and ideation through to shipped outcomes and post-launch iteration. - Contribute to an Automation and Governance product group, focusing on activation, time to value, and complex multi-step workflows. - Run usability research, speak directly with users, and use product analytics to guide design direction. - Partner with engineers to ship and refine work, including prototypes, design system contributions, and smaller product changes. - Explore how AI tools can shape both the design process and the customer experience. - Hold a high bar for craft, coherence, and usefulness in what gets shipped.
Requirements - A portfolio that shows the problem being solved, the design approach, and the outcome, not just polished UI. - Experience designing and shipping digital products, with close collaboration alongside product managers and engineers. - Confidence speaking with users, running research, and using product data to inform decisions. - Ability to make complex workflows simple and intuitive for users with varying technical depth. - Comfort managing multiple projects at different stages and using AI as part of a day-to-day workflow.
Nice to have - Background in B2B SaaS, developer tools, or technical applications such as Salesforce, DevOps, Git, or version control. - Hands-on technical skills including HTML, CSS, coded prototypes, design system work, or tools like Figma, Amplitude, Notion, or Claude.
Benefits and work setup - Salary range of £50,000 to £80,000 depending on experience. - Full-time, Monday to Friday, remote within the UK or flexible hybrid working. - Personal development budget of up to £1,500 per year. - Top-end hardware, 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and the option to buy five additional days. - Company pension plan with up to 5% employer match. - Private health and dental cover, enhanced family leave from day one, life and critical illness insurance, and discounted gym membership.
