About this role
Role overview Combine software engineering with developer education and community engagement for Bitcoin and financial infrastructure projects. You will contribute code while making the platform easier for developers and partners to understand, adopt, and extend through practical materials and direct technical conversations.
Responsibilities - Build features and improvements across core software and payments projects. - Create developer documentation and onboarding guides. - Write tutorials, code samples, and technical articles that explain how systems work. - Take part in public technical discussions and help prospective users or partners through demos and walkthroughs. - Represent the projects at conferences and online, communicating their capabilities and technical direction.
Requirements - At least three years of software engineering experience in backend, full-stack, or systems work. - Practical and conceptual knowledge of Bitcoin and the Lightning Network. - Experience with Rust, GraphQL, and related technologies. - Ability to explain technical systems through code, diagrams, writing, or social posts. - Comfort engaging through developer forums, messaging communities, podcasts, and in-person events. - Curiosity and a product-minded approach to reaching developers and users.
Nice to have - Fintech or core banking platform experience. - Spanish proficiency.
