Principal Engineering Manager (remote within EMEA)

Role overview Lead an engineering area while staying close to the technical and product decisions that shape its work. You will partner with Product and Design from early problem framing through delivery, helping the team make sound decisions, execute predictably, and build systems that remain reliable and maintainable.

Responsibilities - Lead and support engineers with clear direction, context, and constructive feedback. - Partner with Product and Design early to shape solutions and clarify complex problem areas. - Own delivery from problem definition through execution, maintaining alignment and momentum. - Plan work realistically and communicate progress, dependencies, and risks transparently. - Set expectations for engineering quality, scalability, and maintainability. - Contribute to broader engineering improvements through collaboration and leadership.

Requirements - Significant experience leading engineering teams in a product-focused organization. - A strong record of delivering complex products or systems in a fast-moving environment. - Confidence working across both technical and product discussions. - A strong sense of ownership and ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations. - Experience partnering closely with Product and Design. - Clear communication and a practical, execution-focused leadership style.
