Data Analytics Team Lead

Role overview

Lead a small analytics team supporting product and business partners across the supply domain. The work spans customer behavior, partner performance, and other product questions, with an emphasis on prioritizing useful analysis and helping teams make better decisions with data.

Responsibilities - Manage and develop a team of up to four analysts, including regular one-to-ones and performance reviews. - Guide analysis across product areas, customer behavior, and partner performance. - Set and communicate the analytics backlog, aligning priorities with product leaders and business impact. - Lead high-impact analysis initiatives and build relationships across stakeholder groups. - Coach colleagues and partners on applying data in their work. - Contribute to hiring and help the team adopt relevant analytical and statistical methods.

Requirements - At least 5 years of professional data analysis experience and 1 year leading analysts. - Advanced SQL and experience with Snowflake or a comparable data warehouse. - Practical experience building dashboards and visualizations with BI tools. - Strong grounding in data modeling, data quality, statistics, A/B testing, and product experimentation. - Experience with event tracking and product analytics tools. - Strong English communication, clear presentation of findings, and ability to manage competing priorities across stakeholders. - Empathy when working with people from varied professional and cultural backgrounds.

Nice to have

Experience in a product business or marketplace, familiarity with Looker or Amplitude, and prior use of AI in data work are advantageous. Curiosity and willingness to experiment with AI workflows are expected.
