Software Engineer - Integrations Platform

Role overview A backend-focused Software Engineer role building the integrations platform for a HIPAA-compliant pediatric behavioral health product. The position centers on designing and implementing APIs, data pipelines, and services that connect external partners, healthcare systems, and internal products in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.

Responsibilities - Build, maintain, and improve backend services, APIs, and data pipelines powering external and internal integrations - Design scalable, reliable integration patterns for third-party APIs and data exchange - Ensure the performance, reliability, and accuracy of data flowing across systems - Debug and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems, integrations, and data pipelines - Partner with product, operations, and engineering to translate integration requirements into technical solutions - Contribute to system design discussions, code reviews, and improvements to developer tooling, documentation, and workflows

Requirements - 3+ years of professional software engineering experience - Strong skills in Python, Node.js, or comparable backend technologies - Experience building APIs, working with external integrations, or developing data pipelines - Solid understanding of relational or NoSQL databases, data modeling, and service architecture - Proven ability to own features end-to-end, from backend logic to API integrations and data flow - Track record operating production-grade systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, and code quality

Nice to have - Experience with B2B SaaS or internal developer tools - Background working in healthcare or other regulated environments
