Forward deployed engineer

Role overview The product is a desktop kanban-style tool that runs many AI coding agents in parallel, backed by real branches, worktrees, and pull requests on the user's own machine. The forward deployed engineer will embed with real engineering teams to land adoption inside their repos and CI.

Responsibilities - Embed with customer engineering teams to drive genuine adoption in their daily workflows. - Integrate the tool into existing repositories, CI pipelines, and review processes. - Write production code in both the customer's codebase and the product codebase to remove friction. - Capture field signal and feed learnings back into product and engineering roadmaps.

Requirements - Strong software engineering skills with the ability to ship production systems. - Experience integrating developer tools into diverse codebases and CI environments. - Comfort working closely with external engineering teams, including onsite-style embedding. - Excellent written and verbal communication, with a bias toward pragmatic adoption.

Nice to have - Background in forward-deployed, solutions, or platform engineering roles. - Familiarity with monorepos, worktrees, and modern CI/CD systems.
