Role overview
This is a remote Customer Success Engineer role on an Enterprise team, supporting customers after the sale of a network modeling and verification platform. The position focuses on driving platform adoption, ensuring long-term technical success, and acting as a trusted advisor for enterprise and government clients operating across multi-cloud and multi-vendor environments.
Responsibilities
- Act as the subject-matter expert, guiding customers through onboarding, adoption milestones, and ongoing use of the platform - Own post-sales technical issues and coordinate with engineering, product, sales, and marketing to drive resolution - Lead customers through each stage of platform adoption, including best practices, use cases, and architecture guidance - Deliver workshops, presentations, and tailored recommendations to technical and business stakeholders - Document troubleshooting procedures and feed recurring findings back into product and engineering teams - Travel occasionally to customer locations (under 10%) for in-person engagements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience - 5+ years in a customer-facing post-sales engineering role at a networking vendor, relevant software vendor, or as a network engineer at a large enterprise, service provider, or government agency - Strong understanding of networking and security fundamentals - Hands-on experience working with multiple network vendors across routing, switching, load balancing, and firewall technologies - Excellent verbal and written communication, needs-analysis, and presentation skills - Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability with a track record of high customer satisfaction and retention
Nice to have
- Industry certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or VCDX - Prior experience working at an early-stage or fast-growth company - Working knowledge of API-driven workflows and scripting languages (for example Python, Bash, jq, or GraphQL)
