Fullstack Engineer

Role overview Fullstack engineering role on the team that owns the cross-vertical customer journey on a global compute platform. Rather than owning a single product slice, this team focuses on the seams between verticals, including the adoption journey from first touch to first deploy, the usage-to-invoice billing path, and the day-to-day administration surface used by existing customers. The work spans container-to-microVM infrastructure, networking, billing, and the web/app surfaces that customers touch.

Responsibilities - Carry the parts of the product that cross multiple engineering verticals, smoothing seams along the adoption, billing, and admin journey. - Contribute fullstack code to areas that span teams, adapting quickly to unfamiliar scenarios sourced from other engineering or go-to-market groups. - Build and refine customer-facing adoption and administration surfaces, plus the internal tooling that supports them. - Work alongside infrastructure teams to ensure end-to-end changes land safely across the global platform. - Participate in a work-sample-driven hiring process designed to evaluate actual engineering judgment.

Requirements - Versatile fullstack engineer comfortable moving between frontend, backend, and adjacent layers of a distributed system. - Ability to zoom out and reason about end-to-end customer journeys rather than a single vertical. - Comfort adapting to scenarios not previously encountered, with strong debugging and systems-thinking instincts. - Track record of working effectively across teams, including engineering and go-to-market functions. - Self-directed working style aligned with a remote, asynchronous engineering culture.
