Staff Software Engineer

Role overview

A fully remote Staff Software Engineer role based in Buenos Aires, partnering with engineering and company leadership to shape technical direction across a portfolio of ambitious client engagements. The position is hands-on and senior, combining production engineering with project leadership and architectural influence.

Responsibilities

- Guide product delivery all the way to the user, leading projects end to end in dynamic, fast-moving environments - Partner directly with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions - Define product requirements and system designs in partnership with product and design counterparts - Help drive a healthy, effective engineering culture inside both customer teams and within the broader organization - Mentor engineers across multiple teams and support their ongoing growth - Write production code as an individual contributor across diverse technology stacks

Requirements

- 7+ years of professional software development experience - Demonstrated ownership across the full product lifecycle, including CI/CD, testing, release management, deployment, monitoring, and incident response - Deep fluency in scalable system architectures, data structures, algorithms, and modern development practices - Professional fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to international teammates and clients

Nice to have

- Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems, LLMs, or agentic AI - Background across multiple primary languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Go, Java, C#, Kotlin, Swift, or Rust - Cloud platform experience across GCP, AWS, or Azure - Familiarity with streaming systems like Kafka or data stores like PostgreSQL and BigQuery
