Associate QA Engineer

Role overview Test software that includes AI agents, where failures can be inconsistent and difficult to reproduce. The role combines hands-on manual testing with automation, aiming to uncover defects, document them clearly, and make reliable checks part of the release process.

Responsibilities - Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and regression suites that remain useful beyond a single sprint. - Build and run end-to-end tests with Playwright, and use API tests to check authentication, errors, and other important paths. - Test across browsers and on real mobile devices. - Report bugs with clear reproduction steps, environment details, and expected versus observed behavior. - Run automated checks in CI/CD so failures can stop a release. - Check AI behavior for prompt regressions, failed tool calls, and hallucinations, including issues that may not reproduce consistently.

Requirements - Practical fluency in both manual and automated testing. - Experience with Playwright for end-to-end automation. - Ability to write useful test plans, cases, and regression suites. - Experience testing APIs with Postman or an equivalent tool, including authentication and error handling. - Basic TypeScript or JavaScript skills to read the code under test. - Careful attention to detail and patience in reproducing difficult bugs.

Nice to have - Familiarity with the Playwright MCP. - A reported, well-documented bug found in the team’s website or a shipped product, submitted with the application.
