Role overview A senior staff engineering role overseeing the technical roadmap for partner integrations at a fintech company focused on rent payments. The position spans APIs, SDKs, and web experiences, partnering with engineering, product, design, infrastructure, sales, and customer success to align technical strategy with business goals while remaining hands-on as an individual contributor.
Responsibilities - Own the technical roadmap for the partner integrations area, spanning APIs, SDKs, and web experiences - Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, design, infrastructure, sales, partner, and customer success teams to align technical strategy with company goals - Lead the delivery of multiple high-impact products end to end, on time and to a high quality bar - Drive quality and consistency in code and architecture without compromising velocity - Design and develop solutions that maximize return on investment and produce significant business impact - Build integrations with external partners and manage relationships with external stakeholders - Execute work hands-on as an individual contributor while shaping the broader product direction
Requirements - Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field - Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a hands-on technical leadership role - Experience leading delivery of multiple highly impactful products end to end, on time, with a high quality bar - Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to align scope and delivery - Experience in fintech and familiarity with major payment rails - Experience working with sales stakeholders or building products for sales professionals - Experience building integrations with external partners and managing external stakeholder relationships - Experience working on AWS-based cloud applications
