Role overview A technical leadership role within Professional Services that combines hands-on delivery with team-wide mentorship. The position leads Guided Setup engagements for the most complex enterprise accounts on a modern data transformation platform, while also helping define how the broader team delivers setup at scale across warehouse, identity, repository, and access configurations.
Responsibilities - Lead Guided Setup for high-visibility, technically complex enterprise accounts across data warehouse/repository configuration, SSO, RBAC/SCIM, and user access. - Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex scenarios involving PrivateLink, OAuth, SSO, networking, and identity integration. - Work directly with customer technical stakeholders to understand environments, surface risks, and guide successful configurations. - Anticipate technical blockers early and create clear plans to resolve them before they affect onboarding timelines. - Make sound scoping decisions about what belongs in Guided Setup versus adjacent teams such as Customer Solutions Engineering, Product, or post-onboarding work. - Mentor and coach other architects, raising the team's troubleshooting depth, platform expertise, and customer-facing skills.
Requirements - Extensive experience leading complex enterprise onboarding or implementation engagements in data, analytics, or cloud platforms. - Deep familiarity with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift. - Strong working knowledge of identity providers (Okta, Entra ID, Google), SSO, OAuth, RBAC, SCIM, and private connectivity patterns such as PrivateLink and Private Service Connect. - Comfort working across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with Git-based repositories such as GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps. - Solid SQL skills and the ability to translate customer environments into workable technical plans. - Track record of mentoring engineers and partnering across Product, Engineering, and Design.
