Role overview This senior engineering role owns the real-time voice infrastructure behind a high-volume calling platform. The work centers on operating and evolving an audio pipeline that handles millions of calls per month under strict performance and quality targets.

Responsibilities - Scale and operate the real-time voice pipeline serving millions of monthly calls - Hold the system to sub-500ms end-to-end latency targets across production traffic - Drive reliability work to maintain zero dropped audio across the pipeline - Profile, debug, and optimize the voice stack as call volume grows - Partner with adjacent engineering teams on integration and rollout of infrastructure changes

Requirements - Senior-level experience operating real-time or low-latency infrastructure at scale - Background in voice, audio, or media streaming systems - Track record of meeting strict latency and reliability SLOs in production - Ability to investigate complex audio quality or pipeline issues end-to-end

Nice to have - Experience supporting consumer or enterprise calling products at very high call volumes
