Role overview
A remote, full-time role building commercial-grade software across the stack for products that solve operational problems for businesses, governments, and individuals. The work spans robust APIs, data workflows, and thoughtful web experiences, with engineers expected to own features from a clear problem statement through to production.
Responsibilities
- Build and shape features end to end, from understanding the problem through shipping and operating in production. - Develop back-end services and APIs using Java (Quarkus, MicroProfile, and adjacent JVM frameworks) or .NET, and modern TypeScript applications. - Collaborate with product, design, and platform colleagues in a distributed, remote-first team. - Strengthen engineering foundations such as testing, performance, security, and code review practices. - Contribute to data workflows and integration layers that power operational products.
Requirements
- Professional experience building production web or enterprise systems. - Strong capability in Java or .NET back-end development, with confidence designing APIs. - Working knowledge of React or Vue, relational databases, and Git-based delivery workflows. - Practical approach to testing, performance, security, and code review. - Clear written communication suited to a remote, distributed team.
Nice to have
- Experience across multiple back-end ecosystems (Java and .NET). - Familiarity with modern delivery practices and infrastructure concerns.
