Role overview
Design and build backend systems for a multi-tenant financial data platform that lets financial professionals and institutions access and exchange data with consumer consent. The work spans secure cloud architecture, APIs, and migration, with an emphasis on scalable systems, performance, and regulatory needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services for a multi-tenant SaaS platform. - Shape API architecture and systems for secure financial data exchange. - Contribute to cloud data architecture, security, and cloud migration. - Translate complex financial workflows into maintainable software. - Consider performance, security, and regulatory compliance in technical decisions. - Explore emerging areas such as open finance and AI where relevant to the platform.
Requirements
- At least five years of backend development experience. - Experience building scalable systems in financial services or similarly regulated settings. - Skills with Java, Spring Boot, Azure, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes. - Ability to design for performance, security, and regulatory compliance. - Capacity to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and communicate technical decisions.
