About this role
Role overview For a six-month contract, shape and deliver polished user experiences for recruiting and executive search software, including products that use AI agents. The work spans interaction design, customer-facing prototypes, and front-end refinement, with close collaboration across product and engineering from early exploration through production.
Responsibilities - Design user experiences for agent-enabled products and recruiting workflows across several product areas. - Define how users see, review, and interact with outputs from AI agents, including multi-agent interactions. - Prototype early concepts with customers and help turn exploratory work into usable product experiences. - Improve workflows and interaction patterns for a recruiting SaaS product. - Contribute front-end polish through code changes, including responsive behavior, accessibility, and interface states. - Partner day to day with product and engineering, carrying designs through implementation and design review.
Requirements - At least five years designing and shipping digital products, supported by a portfolio of live work. - Ability to move quickly from ideas to prototypes in uncertain or early-stage settings. - Strong interaction design fundamentals, including journey mapping, information architecture, and simplifying complex flows. - Experience creating and applying reusable design system components across product surfaces. - Front-end skills sufficient to make polish-level changes in React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, or component libraries; backend and API work are outside the stated scope. - A design, HCI, or related degree, or equivalent practical experience; demonstrated work is emphasized over formal credentials.
Nice to have - Experience with zero-to-one product work, exploratory design, or SaaS and B2B products. - Familiarity with Git, pull requests, and design QA in an engineering workflow. - Experience designing AI or agent-based interfaces, such as streaming outputs, chat or canvas patterns, human review, and variable system states.
