- Set the direction for AI-assisted engineering tools, workflows, and practices, revisiting choices as the technology changes. - Test coding tools and agents on real engineering work, then assess their impact on delivery speed and software quality. - Turn experiment findings into practical guidance that engineers can apply with confidence. - Share expertise across engineering teams and help colleagues develop effective ways to work with AI. - Continue contributing as a software engineer while exploring and improving AI-supported development practices.

Requirements

- Senior-level software engineering experience and a strong hands-on engineering mindset. - Practical experience using AI tools or agents in software development. - A habit of experimenting, assessing results, and distinguishing useful approaches from ineffective ones. - Ability to explain findings clearly and help a broad engineering group change its working practices. - Interest in keeping pace with a fast-changing AI engineering landscape.
