Role overview
Design, operate, and improve highly available infrastructure spanning AWS and dedicated bare-metal servers. This hands-on senior role covers Linux systems, networking, Kubernetes, automation, and infrastructure architecture, with responsibility for resolving complex production issues and improving reliability across hybrid environments.
Responsibilities - Deploy, maintain, and optimize AWS and bare-metal infrastructure, including Linux servers and services such as EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Route 53, load balancing, and EKS. - Manage Kubernetes clusters in cloud and self-hosted environments, and maintain secure connectivity between them. - Build infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation and automate provisioning and operations with Python, Bash, or Ansible. - Improve CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, backup and recovery practices, and infrastructure security. - Investigate production incidents across servers, networks, containers, and cloud services; contribute to architecture decisions, standards, documentation, and modernization work.
Requirements - At least five years in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or a related field, including three or more years working with cloud infrastructure. - Experience operating both cloud environments and dedicated physical servers, plus production Kubernetes clusters. - Strong hands-on knowledge of Linux, AWS core services, networking, and infrastructure as code. - Experience supporting business-critical systems with high availability and reliability needs. - Full professional English proficiency and strong written and spoken communication for distributed, cross-functional work. - A relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have - Spanish, advanced hybrid networking, WAF or enterprise storage experience, or familiarity with Azure or Google Cloud. - Experience with cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, or security and compliance standards.
