NextJS Engineer

Role overview A digital health infrastructure company is hiring a Next.js engineer to build embedded clinical care tooling that integrates directly into third-party mobile applications. The role focuses on developing SDKs and APIs, wiring up real-time communication, and shaping consumer-grade healthcare experiences. The position is fully remote within the United States and sits at the intersection of web, mobile, and healthcare product development.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain Next.js SDKs and APIs that power embedded care experiences in partner apps - Integrate real-time communication, including WebRTC, into the platform layer - Build and evolve the web layer using Next.js, Turborepo, and TypeScript - Collaborate with mobile teams working in SwiftUI for iOS and Kotlin for Android - Contribute to full-stack product development across SDKs, APIs, and front-end tooling - Help shape the next generation of digital health experiences built on top of existing platform standards

Requirements - Expert-level experience with Next.js and React Server Components - Strong TypeScript and full-stack product development background - Hands-on experience with mobile platforms, ideally Swift and Kotlin - Genuine interest in healthcare and consumer-grade care experiences

Nice to have - WebRTC and real-time communication experience - Familiarity with monorepo tooling such as Turborepo
