Sr. Software Engineer

Role overview

A digital healthcare company is hiring Intermediate and Senior full-stack engineers to build the technology that powers its end-to-end care platform, spanning online consultations, prescriptions, and ongoing patient support. The role is full-stack (Vue.js, PHP/Laravel) and partners closely with product and design to ship experiences that drive patient acquisition, engagement, and retention. Engineers will help shape the architecture, scalability, and reliability of systems supporting patients, healthcare practitioners, and pharmacists across a growing range of health categories.

Responsibilities

- Design architectural patterns, technical specifications, and database structures that power front-end and back-end systems for patient, clinician, and pharmacist experiences - Write code and build software that scales as new products launch, new markets open, and new healthcare categories are added - Improve platform reliability through rigorous testing, observability, monitoring, and targeted system optimization - Manage communication flows across the full stack and establish sound engineering practices and frameworks - Mentor junior engineers and lead technical decision-making within the team - Collaborate cross-functionally with product and design to deliver innovative, patient-centered product experiences

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer building scalable web applications - Proficiency with PHP/Laravel, JavaScript, and Vue.js, with a drive to stay current with evolving tools and frameworks - Leadership skills to unblock and guide development teams through complex initiatives - Clear communication of technical concepts and ability to collaborate effectively with Product - Comfort with ambiguity, ability to create clarity, and eagerness to drive projects and the team forward
