About this role
Role overview Step into a customer-facing Solutions Architect role on a post-sales team that prioritizes measurable customer outcomes over billable hours. The work sits at the intersection of advanced networking, security, and data analysis, helping enterprise customers extract high-value insights from network traffic and resolve high-impact technical problems. Expect to dive into varied customer environments, build custom tooling on top of a network detection and response platform, and partner closely with engineering, product, and field teams to push the platform forward.
Responsibilities - Analyze customer network topologies and application stacks, then design strategies for capturing high-value data directly from the wire. - Build advanced GUI and trigger-script customizations, plus integration scripts using external REST APIs. - Develop custom tools in Python and JavaScript that extend the platform's capabilities and automate repeatable workflows. - Profile industry-specific applications across verticals and produce technical assets that support both product improvement and go-to-market efforts. - Perform root cause analysis on high-profile technology issues and advise customers on resolution paths. - Create tailored data analyses and visualizations that support both tactical investigations and strategic objectives. - Run hands-on learning sessions to upskill key customer personnel on the platform.
Requirements - Six to eight years of relevant, progressively responsible experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent. - Solid grasp of core networking principles across OSI layers two through four and application protocols such as HTTP, SQL, CIFS/NFS, HL7, Memcache, and DNS. - Familiarity with how internetworked applications work, including databases, caching layers, and distributed systems. - Production-level scripting experience in Python and JavaScript. - Strong written communication skills, comfort working directly with customers, and a self-directed, ownership-oriented mindset.
Benefits and work setup - Salary range of $150,000 to $163,000 plus bonus eligibility and benefits. - Health, dental, and vision coverage; FSA and dependent care accounts; and an employee assistance program where applicable. - Flexible PTO, prorated sick time, all U.S. federal holidays, and three days of paid volunteer time. - 401(k) with employer match or pension where applicable, plus educational reimbursement. - Pet insurance and parental leave (U.S. only) under a hybrid and remote work model.
