- Design, build, and operate backend services and APIs that power product surfaces - Strengthen the security, reliability, and performance of production systems - Keep the architecture simple and maintainable as the product and traffic grow - Collaborate with product and frontend teams on feature design and delivery - Participate in code review, testing, and on-call operational practices
Requirements
- Professional experience building and operating backend services in production - Strong grasp of API design, data modeling, and distributed systems fundamentals - Proficiency in a modern backend programming language - Comfort with cloud infrastructure and operational concerns such as scaling and observability - Ability to write clear, maintainable code and contribute to technical documentation
