Role overview
A remote senior full-stack engineering role focused on building and scaling a digital experience monitoring (DEM) platform used by enterprises to observe, diagnose, and optimize SaaS, cloud, and Microsoft 365 application performance. The position combines hands-on technical leadership with team-lead responsibility, contributing new performance-management solutions across a growing customer base.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of significant portions of the product and respond to customer, partner, and internal team needs. - Engineer across the full stack, including user experience, data visualization, DevOps, and analytics layers. - Enhance and scale the platform to handle growing demand and emerging use cases. - Contribute architectural decisions and help shape delivery of new monitoring capabilities. - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ship reliable, customer-facing features.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience building production web applications with Ruby on Rails and a modern JavaScript framework. - Strong full-stack engineering background spanning UX, visualization, DevOps, and analytics. - Proven ability to lead technical work and mentor other engineers. - Comfort owning substantial product areas end to end. - Track record of shipping scalable, customer-facing software.
Nice to have
- Prior experience with application performance monitoring (APM), synthetic monitoring, or digital experience monitoring. - Familiarity with SaaS performance characteristics, Microsoft 365 workloads, or network/end-user experience data.
