Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Role overview Build a digital evidence review platform as an early, founding engineer. The role covers both investigator-facing interfaces and the secure backend services behind them, with meaningful input into architecture and engineering practices as the product approaches launch.

Responsibilities - Develop end-to-end product features across frontend and backend systems. - Create responsive, accessible interfaces with modern web technologies. - Build secure APIs and scalable backend services. - Implement authentication, authorization, and audit logging. - Improve performance, investigate production issues, and maintain code quality through tests and reviews. - Help define technical architecture and engineering standards with a small, distributed team.

Requirements - At least five years of full-stack development experience. - Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills and experience with React, Next.js, or comparable frameworks. - Backend development experience with Node.js, Python, or similar technologies. - Familiarity with relational or document databases, such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB. - Experience with a cloud platform and designing REST APIs or service-oriented systems. - Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines. - A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience, plus strong problem-solving skills. - Comfort taking ownership in a remote, early-stage environment.

Nice to have - TypeScript and Next.js experience, secure coding knowledge, or container tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with regulated or legal technology, evidence handling, audit logging, or compliance. - Familiarity with large-scale data processing and authentication standards such as OAuth or SAML.
