Senior Product Designer (Full Remote - Italy)

Role overview

A senior product designer is needed to shape consumer-facing AI experiences for a large-scale companionship platform serving tens of millions of users. The role spans multiple product surfaces including conversational interfaces, character creation, monetization flows, growth features, and emerging product areas still being defined. The designer partners closely with design leadership, product managers, and engineers, blending strategic product thinking with high-craft execution at speed.

Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end design across multiple product areas, from concept through delivery - Translate complex product and technical challenges into intuitive, high-quality user experiences - Balance speed, experimentation, and craft across fast-moving initiatives - Design for engagement, retention, monetization, and conversion at scale - Create and iterate on visual content (image and video) for product exploration and growth surfaces - Contribute original product ideas, surface opportunities beyond the immediate brief, and push concepts through experimentation - Work confidently across modern design, prototyping, and creative tooling, including AI image and video generation tools - Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership, communicating design reasoning clearly and defending or challenging ideas thoughtfully

Requirements

- Strong track record designing high-quality consumer digital products - Excellent product thinking and interaction design skills - Strong technical fluency and comfort working with AI tools - Strong prototyping skills, able to choose the right fidelity based on the question being tested - Comfort operating close to engineering constraints and implementation realities - Clear, confident communication and the ability to push back on ideas when needed

Nice to have

- Background designing for AI-driven or conversational experiences - Experience with monetization, retention, or growth-focused product surfaces - Comfort experimenting with emerging AI tooling as part of the design process
