WordPress / CMS Developer

Role overview Build and maintain WordPress and other CMS platforms that are fast, secure, and practical for client teams to operate. The work spans development, integrations, migrations, production troubleshooting, and guidance on whether a CMS fits the need.

Responsibilities - Develop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, content structures, and editorial workflows. - Connect CMS platforms to APIs, CRMs, and marketing services. - Improve site performance, accessibility, security, and update practices. - Plan and carry out content or environment migrations. - Work with design, content, and marketing teams; prepare setup notes, handovers, and editor guides. - Troubleshoot production issues and support launches and ongoing maintenance.

Requirements - Practical WordPress development experience, including PHP and theme or plugin customization. - Understanding of CMS security, updates, and maintainable implementation practices. - Experience with custom fields, Gutenberg or block themes, or comparable content tools. - Ability to integrate third-party services and attend to performance and accessibility. - Clear communication with non-technical editors and stakeholders.

Nice to have Experience with WooCommerce, headless WordPress, ACF, WP-CLI, caching, or staging workflows.
