Shopify / Ecommerce Developer

Role overview Develop and customize ecommerce experiences with a focus on dependable storefronts, integrations, and checkout flows. The scope includes Shopify themes and apps, operational workflows, launch support, and advising on when platform features or custom development are appropriate.

Responsibilities - Build and customize Shopify storefronts and themes, and implement apps and store integrations. - Connect payment, shipping, inventory, and CRM workflows. - Improve storefront speed and conversion-critical journeys. - Coordinate with design, marketing, and backend teams on commerce work. - Handle catalog setup and data migrations carefully. - Investigate checkout, theme, and integration issues; document store operations and support launches and post-launch fixes.

Requirements - Practical Shopify development experience, with strong Liquid, theme, and/or app development skills. - Understanding of ecommerce flows and conversion fundamentals. - Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations. - Attention to performance and user experience details. - Ability to test checkout-critical paths and explain platform constraints and estimates. - Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have Experience with Shopify Plus, Hydrogen or Oxygen, checkout extensibility, Klaviyo, or analytics integrations.
