.NET Backend Engineer

Role overview Build and maintain production backend services for business systems where correctness, security, and ongoing operability matter. The work includes API design, domain and data modeling, and integrations with internal and third-party systems, with an emphasis on clear service boundaries and maintainable implementation.

Responsibilities - Design and implement backend services and REST APIs with .NET. - Define application boundaries, domain models, and data access patterns. - Work with SQL Server or other relational databases. - Build integrations and test critical business behavior. - Improve service performance, reliability, and observability. - Join technical design discussions and code reviews; coordinate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product colleagues. - Address authentication, authorization, and security-sensitive flows, and document service behavior and design decisions.

Requirements - Strong production experience with C# and .NET. - Experience building REST APIs with ASP.NET Core. - Solid understanding of relational databases and ORM patterns. - Familiarity with testing and continuous integration. - Understanding of authentication and authorization. - Strong debugging, problem-solving, and technical communication skills, with a practical approach to maintainability.

Nice to have Experience with Entity Framework, Dapper, Azure, Docker, message queues, or domain-driven design.
