Intern: Software Engineer

Role overview A summer software engineering internship supporting a corporate engineering team in Columbia, MO. The role partners interns with experienced engineers to design, build, test, and ship features across consumer and internal applications while learning modern development practices. Responsibilities - Collaborate with engineers to develop, test, and deploy new features and improvements across web, backend, mobile, or full-stack applications. - Write clean, well-documented code in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or Go. - Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback to raise overall code quality. - Debug and troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and ship effective fixes. - Apply version control with Git, agile workflows, and testing frameworks throughout the internship. - Join stand-ups, team meetings, and brainstorming sessions, and present final work to the team at the end of the term.

Requirements - Current undergraduate or graduate student at a US-accredited college or university. - Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing or editing documentation. - Solid organizational skills and attention to detail. - Comfort with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools. - Professional, enthusiastic demeanor and the ability to adapt positively to change.
