Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, and implement RESTful services and APIs. - Write object-oriented code that is clean and maintainable. - Apply MVC patterns when developing Java applications. - Work with API design, security, authentication, and authorization needs. - Handle data and service formats including JSON, XML, and SOAP. - Use validation frameworks and Microsoft SQL Server as part of application development.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of Java development experience. - Expert-level Java programming skills and experience with an MVC framework such as Spring. - Strong understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, and design patterns. - Knowledge of HTTP methods and response codes, RESTful services, and SOAP. - Familiarity with JSON, XML, validation frameworks, and Microsoft SQL Server. - Ability to understand development workflows and how applications operate across environments.
