Senior Consultant, .Net

Role overview Deliver cloud-native software as a senior .NET consultant, owning significant components or subsystems within larger client solutions. You’ll work across the project lifecycle, translating business needs into technical designs while supporting delivery quality and providing technical guidance to colleagues.

Responsibilities - Design components and subsystems for complex solutions, and implement high-quality, testable .NET code. - Work with client stakeholders and delivery teams from discovery and planning through design and implementation. - Clarify specifications, acceptance criteria and architectural decisions to reduce uncertainty during delivery. - Contribute to design reviews and architecture discussions, and resolve technical challenges within your area of responsibility. - Maintain standards for code quality, security, testing and documentation; use AI-assisted development tools with sound judgment and accountability. - Coach less experienced engineers and share knowledge with technical communities.

Requirements - Proven experience building solutions with modern .NET. - Experience building and operating systems on Azure, AWS or comparable cloud platforms. - Strong understanding of microservices and distributed architectures, including their trade-offs. - Ability to turn business requirements into clear technical designs and subsystem architectures. - Experience with integration and end-to-end testing; familiarity with BDD approaches is useful. - Strong communication skills for explaining technical decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences. - A collaborative, proactive approach, with accountability for engineering quality and delivery outcomes. - Comfort using AI-assisted development tools while taking responsibility for their outputs.
