Senior Consultant, .Net

Role overview Work as a Senior .NET Consultant within a digital consulting practice, acting as a trusted senior engineer on client engagements that deliver modern, cloud-native solutions. The role blends hands-on delivery with technical leadership, supporting a Tech Lead or Lead Consultant and taking ownership of meaningful sub-systems across the full project lifecycle. Beyond project work, you will contribute to internal communities, share knowledge, and grow as a senior practitioner.

Responsibilities - Design and deliver production-grade solutions using modern .NET (Core) across web and service layers. - Build and operate systems on cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, applying microservice and distributed architecture patterns thoughtfully. - Translate business requirements into well-defined designs and sub-system architectures, contributing to discovery, design reviews, and architectural discussions. - Write appropriate integration and end-to-end tests, including BDD-style approaches, while maintaining accountability for code quality, security, and engineering standards. - Communicate design rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and confidently resolve technical challenges within complex deliveries. - Apply AI-assisted development tools productively while retaining professional judgment and accountability for outcomes.

Requirements - Significant experience delivering production systems and taking ownership of technical outcomes within complex projects. - Strong capability in modern .NET, cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), and microservice or distributed architectures, including their trade-offs. - Demonstrated ability to turn business requirements into clear technical designs and integration or end-to-end test strategies. - Excellent technical communication and problem-solving skills, with confidence contributing to architectural and design conversations. - A modern developer mindset that values clear specifications, documentation, fast feedback loops, and continuous improvement. - A proactive, collaborative approach with a genuine interest in delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
