Senior Product Manager, Epic Optimization

Role overview Guide how an Epic platform is configured, enhanced, and adopted across healthcare operations. This individual contributor role partners with operational and technical teams to uncover business problems, recommend scalable solutions, and shape platform standards, upgrades, and implementation guidance.

Responsibilities - Set direction for Epic upgrades, enhancements, and feature adoption by assessing functionality and operational value. - Work with operations teams to understand workflows and translate business needs into platform standards and adoption plans. - Lead discovery and scope requirements across operations, platform services, product, innovation, and data teams. - Recommend solutions with clear rationale and tradeoffs, including approaches for integrations with third-party systems. - Develop and maintain standard operating models and playbooks based on platform capabilities and best practices. - Educate colleagues on platform standards and coordinate consistent communication with client-facing partners.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree. - At least seven years of Epic experience in healthcare operations or an IT environment. - Epic certification in Patient Access, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, or HIM. - Deep functional knowledge of Epic and strong communication skills for executive audiences. - An inquisitive, creative approach to problem solving and openness to exploring new technology.

Nice to have - Experience in product management, solution design, or operational strategy.
