Job details
About this role
Role overview A senior technical product manager is needed to own a strategic slice of a large-scale platform that powers intelligent travel experiences for tens of thousands of business customers and millions of travelers. The role blends deep systems thinking with hands-on product leadership, partnering closely with engineering, data, and business teams to ship reliable, AI-enabled capabilities. It suits someone who wants full ownership of a platform area, from roadmap definition through launch, adoption, and long-term evolution.
Responsibilities - Shape the strategy and roadmap for a platform area, taking it from requirements through launch, adoption, and continuous improvement. - Translate customer and partner needs into clear technical requirements, then define and track the metrics that signal success across adoption, reliability, and business impact. - Dive into architecture, APIs, and system tradeoffs alongside engineering, identifying where AI and machine learning can make the platform smarter or more dependable. - Balance long-term foundational investments against near-term revenue and customer outcomes, making disciplined prioritization calls. - Communicate the what and why of the platform to both technical and non-technical audiences, and align cross-functional partners on direction.
Requirements - 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with exposure to travel, marketplaces, or fintech environments. - Strong technical depth, with the ability to engage engineers on architecture decisions, APIs, and system-level tradeoffs. - Sharp analytical toolkit, including SQL, KPI definition, and experimentation, with a track record of turning ambiguity into a concrete plan. - Hands-on experience shipping LLM-based tools or machine learning–adjacent products in production. - Conviction and the ability to say no to engineers or partners while explaining the reasoning, paired with a customer-first mindset even when deep in technical work.
Nice to have - Background in travel, marketplace, or fintech product management. - Experience scaling platform products that serve both internal and external developer or partner audiences.
Benefits and work setup - Competitive base pay with equity for all employees; some roles may also include an annual bonus or commission, with total compensation shaped by experience, expertise, and location. - Stated US base pay range of $153,935 to $213,000. - Hybrid-hub working model, with roles supported from in-office hubs or fully remote, with the environment tailored to what each team needs to succeed. - Full benefits package, with specifics varying by employment type and location.
