Principal Architect (Data Architecture)

Role overview A technology consultancy is hiring a Principal Architect focused on Data Architecture, embedded in its Client Delivery Engineering organization and Data and AI discipline. The position is remote within the United States and serves external client engagements. It is a full-time, exempt role within the firm's broader consulting practice, intended for an experienced architect leading data strategy across client programs.

Responsibilities - Lead data architecture design across U.S.-based client engagements - Provide senior technical direction on data platforms, modeling, and integration decisions - Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to align data architecture with client outcomes - Contribute to the Data and AI discipline's standards, patterns, and best practices

Requirements - Principal-level experience shaping data architecture for enterprise clients - Background supporting external client delivery in a consulting, services, or systems integration environment - Ability to operate remotely within the United States and engage across multiple concurrent engagements - Strong grounding in data and AI practices relevant to client delivery engineering

Nice to have - Exposure to consulting delivery models and engagement-level architecture governance - Experience mentoring senior engineers and architects across distributed teams
