Intelligent Automation Engineer

Role overview Design and deliver intelligent automation that helps organizations streamline business processes. The work combines robotic process automation, AI-enabled workflows, scripting, and collaboration with stakeholders, from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing improvement. This is a remote role based in Bolivia, with 3+ years of experience requested.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain automation workflows using UiPath and/or Microsoft Power Automate. - Apply agentic AI approaches and integrate machine learning or other AI capabilities into workflows. - Create reusable automation components and scripts in Python, PowerShell, or similar languages. - Review business processes with stakeholders, validate requirements, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scale. - Test, debug, monitor, and optimize solutions while addressing security, maintainability, and reliability. - Contribute to Agile delivery, deployment practices, and technical documentation.

Requirements - 3+ years of relevant experience and a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Hands-on experience with UiPath and/or Power Automate, plus AI-driven or agentic automation. - Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or a similar language. - Understanding of automation frameworks, design patterns, and sound development practices. - Experience collaborating in Agile teams and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership independently.

Nice to have - Experience integrating machine learning models into workflows, or familiarity with AI Builder, Copilot Studio, or Azure AI capabilities. - Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, APIs, microservices, or enterprise integrations. - Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry or similar platforms; relevant platform certifications or experience delivering automation at enterprise scale.
