This remote Data Analyst position is centered on examining complex healthcare data to surface insights that inform both day-to-day operations and longer-term strategy. The role blends quantitative analysis, reporting, and data modeling to identify trends, measure performance, and recommend process improvements across the revenue cycle. The analyst partners with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into clear analytical outputs and communicates findings to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex healthcare datasets to surface trends, anomalies, and performance drivers - Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and data models that support operational and strategic decision-making - Translate business questions from cross-functional partners into well-defined analytical approaches - Measure performance against key metrics and recommend process improvements - Validate data accuracy and ensure the integrity of analytical outputs - Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
- Hands-on experience analyzing complex datasets and turning results into actionable insights - Proficiency with quantitative analysis, reporting, and data modeling techniques - Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences - High attention to detail, with a focus on validation and data quality - Organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities - A problem-solving mindset and the ability to drive work to completion independently while collaborating across teams
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Databricks or comparable modern data platforms - Background working with healthcare, claims, or revenue cycle data
