Senior Modern Work Engineer

Role overview Senior consulting engineering role focused on delivering secure Microsoft 365 Modern Work solutions for mid- to large-sized client engagements, from initial discovery through delivery. The position serves as the primary technical point of contact, translates business requirements into scalable architectures, and guides engineering teams while proactively managing delivery risks and dependencies. This is a 100% remote role suited to a self-directed engineer who enjoys mentoring and consulting work.

Responsibilities - Lead mid-to-large client Modern Work engagements end to end, from discovery through successful delivery and handover. - Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, translating business requirements into scalable, supportable Microsoft 365 solutions. - Design architectures that balance security, automation, and long-term maintainability. - Mentor and guide engineers, reviewing designs, raising quality, and supporting team development. - Proactively identify and manage delivery risks, dependencies, and cross-team outcomes. - Troubleshoot complex Modern Work and Microsoft 365 issues across client environments.

Requirements - Deep hands-on experience delivering secure Microsoft 365 Modern Work solutions in a consulting or services context. - Strong architecture, automation, and troubleshooting skills across the Modern Work stack. - Proven consulting communication skills, including the ability to lead client conversations and translate business needs. - Experience guiding teams, mentoring engineers, and acting as a technical point of contact on multi-stakeholder projects. - Self-starter mindset with the curiosity and follow-through to operate independently while remote. - Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
