NetSuite Developer cum Admin

Role overview Own and extend a NetSuite environment through a mix of software development, integrations, automation, and platform administration. The work is weighted toward development, with roughly 60% focused on building and integrating solutions and 40% on administration and governance. You’ll partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Support to improve business processes, including through AI-enabled features.

Responsibilities - Build, test, deploy, and maintain SuiteScript 2.x customizations, workflows, records, forms, fields, and saved searches. - Develop and support NetSuite integrations with CRM, banking, and other platforms using SuiteTalk, RESTlets, and web services. - Identify AI use cases such as document extraction, transaction classification, anomaly detection, forecasting support, and natural-language reporting; integrate relevant models and APIs with appropriate safeguards and logging. - Manage users, roles, permissions, environments, releases, and segregation-of-duties controls; monitor performance, integrations, and data quality. - Support financial close, audit, and compliance needs, while providing advanced user support, training, and documentation. - Gather business needs, translate them into technical designs, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to platform planning.

Requirements - At least five years of hands-on NetSuite experience spanning development and administration. - Strong JavaScript and SuiteScript 2.x skills, including debugging, performance tuning, and governance management. - Experience with SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteQL, saved searches, and SuiteCloud Development Framework deployments. - Experience building and supporting integrations using REST or SOAP, RESTlets, JSON, and OAuth 2.0. - Knowledge of NetSuite financial modules and role and permission design, plus Git and sandbox-to-production release practices. - Demonstrated application of generative AI or machine learning to business systems, including prompt design, calling LLM APIs from code, and regular use of AI coding assistants. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; a relevant degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have NetSuite certifications; experience with SuiteApps, billing, revenue management, or multi-subsidiary environments; familiarity with integration platforms, data tools, RAG or vector search, AI agent frameworks, Python, or Node.js; experience in SaaS or subscription businesses.
