Principal Full Stack Software Engineer

Role overview

This hands-on principal engineering role owns the architecture of a platform serving brand and creator portals, the services behind them, and AI systems that match creators with campaigns. You will continue to write production code, but your broader impact will come from making durable technical decisions, establishing engineering standards, and helping other engineers grow. The role combines end-to-end system ownership with responsibility for solving complex problems around payments, verification, scale, and ambiguous product requirements.

Responsibilities

- Own the architecture across the web portals, backend services, and relational data layer. - Establish and maintain standards for testing, code review, safe migrations, and security review. - Lead the most demanding technical work, including payout correctness, verification integrity, and scaling the platform. - Mentor engineers through design reviews, pairing, and practical feedback that raises the quality bar. - Partner with product and design to turn unclear goals into focused, shippable increments. - Balance immediate implementation needs with long-term maintainability and operational safety.

Requirements

- At least 8 years of experience building and operating production web applications. - Strong TypeScript expertise across the stack and experience with a modern frontend framework such as React. - Deep knowledge of relational data modeling and safe schema-migration practices in systems operating at scale. - Experience with production cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and ownership of CI/CD practices. - Demonstrated technical leadership without relying on formal management authority. - Ability to make sound architectural decisions while remaining close enough to the code and product details to implement and validate them.
