Principal Full Stack Software Engineer

Role overview A hands-on principal engineering role owning the end-to-end architecture of a creator-economy platform, including the brand and creator-facing portals, the backend services that power them, and the AI systems that match creators to campaigns. The position combines active coding with high-leverage technical leadership: setting direction, raising the engineering bar, and mentoring the team. The work spans portals, services, and data, with a focus on the hardest problems in correctness, integrity, and scale.

Responsibilities - Define and evolve the architecture across frontend portals, backend services, and the data layer - Establish engineering standards for testing, code review, safe migrations, and security review - Tackle the most demanding technical problems, including payout correctness, verification integrity, and system scale - Mentor engineers through design review, pairing, and constructive feedback - Collaborate with product and design to convert ambiguous goals into shippable increments

Requirements - 8+ years of experience building and operating production web applications - Deep proficiency in TypeScript across the stack, plus a modern framework such as React - Strong relational data modeling skills and a track record of safe schema migrations at scale - Hands-on experience with production cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and ownership of CI/CD pipelines - Demonstrated technical leadership without relying on formal authority

Nice to have - Background in creator-economy, marketplace, or two-sided platform products - Familiarity with AI-driven matching, recommendation, or ranking systems - Experience building payout, billing, or financial-integrity systems at scale
