AI Engineer (LLM Products)

Role overview Build and improve production features powered by large language models, with a focus on helping an assistant answer accurately using product catalog information and tools. The work spans retrieval design, evaluation, guardrails, and early collaboration on new product capabilities.

Responsibilities - Design prompts, tool integrations, and retrieval pipelines for production LLM features. - Create evaluation datasets and measure response quality, operating cost, and latency. - Develop safeguards that reduce unsupported or fabricated answers. - Prototype and refine AI features in partnership with the product team.

Requirements - Experience delivering LLM-powered features to real users. - Strong programming ability in Python or TypeScript. - Understanding of embeddings, information retrieval, and tool calling. - A rigorous approach to evaluation, using measurements to support quality claims.
