About this role
Role overview Set product direction for market data and institutional customers, helping turn complex financial information needs into dependable products that customers can integrate into their workflows. The role spans customer discovery, data quality and delivery, commercial adoption, and leadership of a product team. Success means products create measurable value in use, with priorities refined through close customer relationships.
Responsibilities - Choose target customer groups, problems and product opportunities, and establish a clear strategy for institutional market data. - Own the experience from data creation to delivery, setting expectations for coverage, accuracy, consistency and timeliness. - Translate research, investment, trading and operational needs into priorities for datasets, feeds and integrations. - Coordinate engineering, data and commercial teams; resolve dependencies and make explicit scope, quality and timing decisions. - Partner on customer evaluations, pricing and adoption, turning recurring needs into scalable offerings. - Define product measures, improve operating practices, use AI to strengthen research and feedback loops, and lead a team accountable for customer outcomes.
Requirements - Background in traditional or onchain markets and fluency with financial terminology and how market participants use data. - Experience delivering technically complex data products, ideally for institutional customers. - Strong product judgment: able to set direction, prioritize with incomplete information and revise decisions when evidence changes. - Ability to connect customer needs with technical requirements and a credible business case. - Willingness to stay close to execution, investigate issues and communicate clearly across teams. - Leadership ability to develop a product team and make difficult prioritization calls.
Nice to have - Familiarity with onchain markets, tokenized equities or real-world assets. - Startup experience, such as having been a founder or early operator.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first work with flexible hours and a mix of asynchronous and live collaboration. - Compensation includes salary and equity; other listed support includes five weeks of paid time off, health coverage, paid parental leave, home-office or coworking support, and travel allowances. - Company and team gatherings take place periodically.
