Product Design Lead
Job details
About this role
Role overview
A senior, hands-on product designer is needed to shape the mobile experience for a two-sided marketplace serving both creators building subscription businesses and fans discovering and following them. The role combines end-to-end product design ownership with meaningful influence over product direction, working closely with product, engineering, creator success, and company leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product design including discovery, information architecture, user flows, prototypes, visual design, and implementation review. - Develop deep understanding of the business and users, proactively identifying problems and opportunities that shape product priorities. - Design complete user journeys, balancing decisions, information, and interactions to help people accomplish their goals. - Build consistent navigation, interaction patterns, and visual design across the mobile experience. - Iterate on core fan journeys covering discovery, subscription, onboarding, content access, engagement, and renewal. - Create tools that help creators launch offerings, communicate with subscribers, track performance, and grow their business. - Run focused user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform product direction and guide iteration. - Collaborate fluidly with engineers across exploration, prototyping, active development, and refinement, and use AI and rapid prototyping tools to validate concepts. - Contribute to shared design patterns and provide constructive feedback that lifts quality across the team.
Requirements
- Senior- or lead-level experience designing and shipping digital products as a hands-on individual contributor, with a portfolio showing work from problem definition through launch and iteration. - Strong interaction design and information architecture skills, with a track record of independently solving complex consumer experience problems. - Strong visual design skills across responsive web and mobile, including hierarchy, typography, and interaction details. - Experience with consumer subscriptions, marketplaces, creator tools, commerce, or similarly complex multi-sided products. - Sound product judgment: ability to connect user needs to business goals, prioritize high-impact opportunities, and explain tradeoffs clearly. - A portfolio that demonstrates thinking across user journeys, with evidence of reasoning, exploration, and validation. - Fluency with Figma and prototyping tools, plus curiosity about emerging design and product development tools. - Comfort working directly with users, navigating incomplete information, and collaborating closely with engineers.
Nice to have
- Experience in sports betting, prediction markets, marketplaces, or creator platforms, and motivation to develop deep domain understanding.
Benefits and work setup
