Role overview
Own high-impact engineering work for a platform supporting short links, conversion measurement, and affiliate programs at substantial internet scale. This staff-level role combines product development, systems design, data infrastructure, and technical leadership in a small, globally distributed team. You will take projects from initial concept through production delivery while helping shape the systems and practices needed for continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement APIs, database schemas, scheduled jobs, queues, and other core product infrastructure. - Improve the ingestion, storage, processing, and materialization of very large volumes of analytics events. - Lead projects from architecture and planning through implementation, launch, maintenance, and iteration. - Use customer feedback to prioritize and deliver practical product improvements. - Build polished product experiences from design specifications, including accurate, responsive user interfaces. - Contribute to technical support, documentation, internal tooling, and AI-assisted workflow improvements when needed.
Requirements
- Eight or more years of experience in technical roles such as software engineering, founding engineering, technical product engineering, or technology leadership. - Strong systems-design ability and sound judgment around scalability, reliability, maintainability, and tradeoffs. - Professional proficiency with Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, Prisma, MySQL, Redis, QStash or Kafka, and ClickHouse. - Excellent debugging, problem-solving, prioritization, and time-management skills. - Ability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute across multiple areas in a small team. - Comfortable collaborating asynchronously with a fully remote, global workforce.

Benefits and work setup
