Senior DevOps Engineer

Role overview Help build and operate cloud infrastructure for a software platform, with responsibility for reliability, security, and infrastructure automation. The role combines planned platform improvements with support work and production incident response, in close collaboration with application engineering, quality, and security teams.

Responsibilities - Design and implement cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code solutions. - Maintain platform stability and use operational metrics to guide decisions and communication. - Partner with application engineers on production incidents and take part in an on-call rotation. - Deliver infrastructure changes incrementally while avoiding downtime. - Work with engineering and compliance stakeholders to define and adopt security practices. - Improve team workflows and shape application architecture decisions based on platform needs.

Requirements - Four to six years of engineering experience, including at least two years in a DevOps role. - Strong experience designing and managing AWS infrastructure and using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. - Experience with Linux, shell scripting, and a scripting language. - Familiarity with Docker and modern source control and continuous integration tools. - Experience with observability, including logs, metrics, tracing, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting. - Security-first design judgment and experience using AI coding tools with attention to reliability and security. - Must be authorized to work in the United States and located there by the start date.
