Role overview
A senior technical account manager is needed to serve as a trusted advisor to federal clients across their full lifecycle with an industrial cybersecurity platform. This remote position blends deep operational technology (OT) cybersecurity expertise with strong relationship-building skills, translating complex use cases into measurable mission outcomes for critical infrastructure customers.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical advocate for assigned federal customers, guiding onboarding, implementation, and long-term platform adoption. - Help customers operationalize priority use cases and integrate the platform into existing security workflows to drive tangible business results. - Lead recurring account reviews, roadmap alignment sessions, and platform optimization initiatives to ensure continuous value delivery. - Track customer health and adoption signals, proactively flagging risk and developing recovery plans for underutilized accounts. - Collaborate with Customer Success, Support, Product, and Sales teams to deliver a cohesive end-to-end experience. - Function as an OT cybersecurity subject matter expert, delivering workshops, training, and executive briefings, with up to 30% regional travel.
Requirements
- Three or more years of hands-on experience in OT environments with practical knowledge of ICS, SCADA, or DCS systems. - At least one year in a cybersecurity engineering or SOC role, ideally supporting critical infrastructure environments. - Solid grounding in ICS/OT cybersecurity concepts, including detection platforms, risk management, and industrial threat scenarios. - Familiarity with SIEM tools and incident response workflows (examples include Splunk, QRadar, FortiSIEM, or Elastic), plus foundational industrial networking knowledge such as SPAN/TAPs, VLANs, and firewalls. - Demonstrated success in customer-facing or post-sales roles, delivering value-focused technical support to both technical and business audiences. - Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas to diverse stakeholders. - Active SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance.
