Senior Data Engineer

Role overview A senior data engineering role embedded in a matrixed data community that connects data strategy across product-focused initiatives. The position designs sustainable data structures and pipelines that turn complex industrial and security-relevant sources into performant analytics for customer-facing products.

Responsibilities - Author sustainable data contracts that satisfy governance and quality requirements - Model complex data sources into performant analytics structures - Build and maintain a data transformation layer that anchors analytic workflows - Partner with product engineering teams to ship data capabilities that improve customer products - Contribute to shared tooling for observability, lineage tracking, and configuration validation

Requirements - 5+ years of data engineering experience - Hands-on dimensional modeling and incremental data model design - Experience implementing data observability frameworks and robust data contracts - Software development skills in Go, JVM-family languages, Python, and/or Node.js with cloud-native architectures - Track record of working with medium-to-large scale datasets, ideally cybersecurity or industrial data - Knowledge of integrating cloud and on-prem technologies, with deployments on Kubernetes and Docker - Experience with message queuing and stream processing on deployable infrastructure

Nice to have - Domain familiarity in at least one data-heavy field; cybersecurity threat detections, threat intelligence, or ICS/OT operations is especially valuable

Benefits and work setup Remote-first role. Base salary of $165,000 plus a competitive equity package and a comprehensive benefits plan.
