Senior Platform Engineer

Role overview Build and maintain the platform capabilities that help engineering teams develop and release software reliably at scale. The work combines software engineering with infrastructure automation, Kubernetes operations, and improvements to the developer experience across distributed applications.

Responsibilities - Design, implement, test, deploy, and support shared platform services and tools. - Develop maintainable software, primarily with C# and .NET Core. - Automate application delivery and manage Kubernetes environments, including deployments with Helm and GitOps practices. - Improve reliability, scalability, performance, observability, and deployment approaches such as canary and blue-green releases. - Diagnose complex issues across distributed systems and microservices, and contribute to performance testing. - Work with engineering partners on platform needs, review code, share good practices, and mentor colleagues.

Requirements - At least four years of professional software development experience; C# and .NET Core experience is preferred. - Experience building or supporting distributed systems and microservice architectures. - Practical experience with Kubernetes, containers, and modern software deployment. - Strong software engineering fundamentals and understanding of the software development lifecycle. - Ability to troubleshoot across complex application and infrastructure environments. - Familiarity with GitOps, deployment automation, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP. - Clear communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have - Experience with observability tools such as Datadog or the ELK Stack. - Experience with end-to-end performance testing at scale.
