Role overview
This senior statistician position sits within a client intelligence function that supports healthcare marketing programs. The role partners with analysts, data scientists, engineers, and commercial stakeholders to produce measurement-driven insights that inform brand strategy and demonstrate program impact. It combines hands-on statistical work with client-facing consultation and internal mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve program impact measurement capabilities built in-house and with external analytics partners - Design and maintain analytically rigorous performance benchmarks for ongoing initiatives - Present standard and bespoke measurement approaches to clients during pre-sale conversations and walk through results with brand and client analytics teams - Mentor business analytics managers on interpreting results, surfacing insights, and preparing for client discussions that support renewals and growth - Act as a statistical consultant to the data science team on advanced modeling projects - Help scale survey and market-research-based measurement capabilities, including managing third-party data vendor relationships
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in a quantitative or statistical role (e.g., statistician, biostatistician) within healthcare, pharma, or a closely related industry - Hands-on command of statistical techniques such as test-vs-control study designs, covariate adjustment methods (e.g., ANCOVA), and clustering - Strong working knowledge of HCP prescription and claims data, including how vendors record and track it and the typical gaps that arise - Advanced SQL and Python proficiency, including complex multi-table queries and familiarity with common data science libraries - Experience engaging third-party analytics vendors on independent studies, RFPs, and contracts - Track record of leading external client conversations around program performance analysis

- Applying clustering or machine learning techniques to sponsored engagement programs using Rx and Dx data - Familiarity with HCP engagement or media-mix measurement workflows
